Good song. The music made me picture a steam train carrying coal and the miner's dream of a better life off into the sunset. Another download and a thumbs up.

I can't help singing along, harmonizing, enjoying the instruments and the sense of down home they create in my heart. Great music, incredible musicians. What's not to vote for here???
Aw... who cares about votes... what matters to me is that I hear this again!!! To the playlist, ahoy!

Bellisimo! Man, one of these days I'm gonna have to take up strumming, as being able to play your own beautiful soundtrack is as close to being self-sufficient as a man can get. Well done.

Ooh, think this one's the best of the lot. Slightly darker edge to the music, while still maintaining the same level of zing. Very good stuff.

It might seem like an obvious genre to bring up in reaction to this song, but I'd like to talk about Surf Rock anyway.
In all seriousness, I've heard/read that many of the elements of the language of Surf Rock are attempts at either approximating sounds heard while surfing or even expressing synaesthetic sensations ("seeing" sounds, "hearing" tactile sensations, etc.).
This has that same "retelling" kind of quality. The rhythms in particular, the way the percussion of each instrument carves out its own rhythm while contributing to that of the whole song...it sounds like mining, not realistically, so much. It's a deeper connection than that.
Excellent stuff!

This could really turn me onto Bluegrass, not what I expected. Can't be faulted in any way, I especially like the mandolin.
